BIOGRAPHY
Babatunde Olaniyi Adefioye was born 1964 in Loodi Compound, Ile – Ife, now in Osun State, to Olaposi (a senior civil servant), and Florence, (a school teacher).
Babatunde had his primary school education in Ibadan, Oyo State, at Christ The King Primary School, and had his secondary school education at Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro, Ogun State, between 1975 and 1980.
Babatunde attended The Polytechnic Ibadan, between 1981 and 1983, and obtained a Diploma in Architecture.
In 1983, Babatunde was admitted to the University of Ife, where he studied till 1990, obtaining a Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees in Architecture.
Professional Life:
Babatunde carried out his Youth Service in Lagos in 1990, and was retained for his first employment at Space Concepts Limited, a foremost architectural firm in Lagos.
He became a chartered Architect with the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and the Architects’ Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) in 1993.
During his time at Space Concepts, Babatunde was directly responsible for, and was involved in many building designs.
